1 30-oz bag Mccain Frozen Shredded Hash Browns, thawed

1 8-oz container Simple Root Salsa Con Queso

1 medium onion, diced

1 cup dairy-free heavy whipping cream

1 cup plant-based sour cream

2 cups plant-based cheddar cheese 

1 tsp salt

1 tsp black pepper

1 cup crispy fried onions

3 green onions, sliced thin


Preheat oven to 350 F degrees

Step 1

Spray a 9 x13 baking dish with oil. 

In a large bowl combine the thawed hash browns, salsa con queso, diced onion, heavy cream, sour cream, cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper. Pour into the baking dish.

Bake uncovered for 35 minutes. Remove pan from oven.


Step 2

Top casserole with fried onions and bake an additional 10 minutes. Serve with the green onions sprinkled on top
